Taking on the Thompson 10K

The Reclaim the Rain Project Team took on the challenge of the Thompson 10k run. Mark, a keen runner from Norfolk County Council, strapped on his running shoes and completed the challenge in a massively impressive 42 minutes and 31 seconds. Congratulations Mark!

Sean, our Norfolk Project Manager, also took the opportunity to have some fantastic conversations with lots of members of the local community. We answered questions and concerns, explained what the project was for, and listened to some great ideas which could all help to make Thompson a more water resilient village.

In the near future Sean will be back in Thompson to attend coffees mornings, where local residents will be able to drop in and learn more about Reclaim the Rain, how they can get involved and what the benefits might be. This is going to be a brilliant way to come and meet the team and ask any questions you may have, so we’d encourage everyone to keep an eye out for an invite and come along if you can!
